DELL Toad SQL Editor Java Template for Code Statement

Very often my Java template gets reset in Toad SQL Editor which prevents "Make Code Statement" or "Strip Code Statement" from working. Giving the following error:

"No template found for make/strip code.

You must make a valid selection in the options window."

Solution

To set it up again go to: View >> Toad Options >> Editor >> Code Assist >> Make Code >> Add...

And fill in the form with the following data as shown below:

Name: Java
Quote Character: "
Escape Character: \
